Interviewer: I know with everything related to the Hands of Decay, you are likely busy. But I thank you for taking time out of your day for this interview. I wI'll be interviewing a few others ad well with the same questions. It's good to have many different perspectives on this. If you are ready, we can begin.

[Mewtwo simply nods]

Interviewer: When did you first hear about the Hands of Decay?
Mewtwo: Like many of us, I first heard about the Hands when they first announced their presence, a story this paper broke.

Interviewer: When you first heard about them threatening to wage war on mages, did you think they were truly a threat or some group trying to seem more threatening than they were?
Mewtwo: My first response to the organization was skepticism. It is my belief that their hatred of magic is more or less a smokescreen. Something to motivate the scared and downtrodden to unify so as to further the personal wealth of another.

Interviewer: Do you think the hatred of magic is at all justified?
Mewtwo: I do not. It is my personal belief that magic - as it is defined in Fayren - is like any power. It is a tool, inherently neither good nor evil, and relies solely on the intent of the user.

Interviewer: Do you believe that people that have magic garner more respect than people that don't?
Mewtwo: That is simply natural. Power in general is an attractor of attention. Those without power seek it, those that have it wish to protect it. How that manifests is up to the individual, be it striking fear in others and using oppression as a way to protect their interests, while others use their power to make the lives of others better, endearing others to them so as to count on their assistance in times of need.

Interviewer: People have speculated that when the mage Arlen attacked the city by letting the mobsters in that it was orchestrated by the Hands of Decay. While there is no evidence suggesting their involvement, and they haven't owned up to it, what are you thoughts? Do you believe they were involved and why do you think they would do something like that?
Mewtwo: Speculation is encouraged, however given the nature of the ongoing investigation and the public nature of this publication I feel it would be in the best interest of all to keep certain details private. As of this time, I have no comment on that.

Interviewer: Do you have experience facing a group like this before?
Mewtwo: I do. The last time Pokemon came into this world, so too did an organization from my world; Team Rocket. Their goal was similar. Uniting the downtrodden and scared to obtain power over those they saw as being oppressors. Interestingly enough, it was brought to light that the leader of Team Rocket - a man named Giovanni - was one of those that held power in the system Team Rocket was supposedly attempting to upset.

Interviewer: Have you ever been treated definitely because of what you are or what you can do?
Mewtwo: I have. In the past, I have kept this story private for... obvious reasons, however I feel for the sake of transparency, I make this public. I was not born like other Pokemon. I was created by man. Cloned from the legendary Pokemon Mew, and genetically engineered to be the strongest Pokemon ever. The man who funded my creation, my "father" if you will... was the same man I mentioned earlier, Giovanni. He treated me like a slave, shackling me and suppressing my power just enough that I could not turn on him - or so he thought. When I discovered his intent, that he was not aiming to make the world a better place, that he saw me as beneath him, and was simply using me as a weapon, I broke free. Even the natural world rejected me, one of the few Mews left in the wild confronted me, calling me an abomination. It has taken years, in my world to find a place where I, and those like me, could be free of that persecution. Humans seeking us out for our power, and the nautral world rejecting us as things that should not be. Thankfully, in this place, that has been far less prevalent.

Interviewer: Have they done anything to you personally?
Mewtwo: The Hands of Decay? No. I do not know whether it is because they have not had a chance, whether they believe my powers to fall outside the boundaries of magic as they see it, or because they do not believe themselves capable of matching my power, but no. They have not.

Interviewer: Do you think they have people in town supporting them?
Mewtwo: More than likely, yes. Movements like these do not gain traction if none buy into the ideals they champion.

Interviewer: What steps are you taking to combat them?
Mewtwo: Again, given the sensitive nature of the investigation, I cannot speak of details. However, a large number of volunteers have stepped forward and are aiding in the investigation.

Interviewer: What are your thoughts on the group?
Mewtwo: I think they are cowardly. In my world, disputes are settled in battle. Even Team Rocket adhered to this. However, I think they are cowardly out of necessity. Because if they did not resort to such tactics, they would have been easily crushed.

Interviewer: It has been said in a previous interview with a kidnapped Mage that that blame the city and it's Guardians for the failure to protect them. Do you agree or disagree?
Mewtwo: It is natural to place blame somewhere, and while I do not resent the comments, I would like to point out that we cannot be everywhere at every time. Couple that with agents of the Hands infiltrating the royal guard - unknown to even those that had been unwittingly supplying information - they have been very difficult to track. I will not deny that the office might have been able to catch those responsible if one thing had gone differently, however I do not believe the blame lay with us. The blame should lay squarely on the shoulders of those that would victimize others out of jealousy or fear.

Interviewer: There are people that are afraid with everything that is going on with the group. What would you like to say to them?
Mewtwo: I would like to reassure them that this office is doing everything within its power to uncover them, and I am expecting to break their ranks soon.

Interviewer: If there are people in Fayren that support the group, what would you like to say to them?
Mewtwo: I would ask them to evaluate why they support the group. Whether it is out of fear, for money, or any other motivator, and I would also remind them that there is a standing reward for any information leading to the arrest of members of the group. If they fear reprisal, protection is also something that can be promised as well for any informants.

Interviewer: If the Hands of Decay or their leader were to read this interview, what's the message that you would like to get to them?
Mewtwo: I would just like to say one thing. I am coming for you. And I will find you. Soon.

Interviewer: Alright. Thank you for your time.
