Role Reasoning:
Mewtwo's general attitude currently is one of neutrality. He simply wants to exist and focus on exploring his new surroundings. As such, I don't think he really qualifies as either legend or myth while having the potential for either. The transformation abilities that familiars manifest would also allow him to more easily mingle with those around him while not drawing attention to himself, which is something he still struggles with as in his world he represents power - both to fear and claim. I would like to maybe nudge him toward a legend role down the line, as he gets more comfortable interacting with people as himself, but for the time being anyway, he would feel more comfortable with transformation options at his disposal.

❥ What was the most traumatic experience your character endured? How did this change them?
To put it simply, waking up. When Mewtwo woke up for the first time, he was already reeling from the loss of the only friends - the only people - he had ever known, and was thrust into a situation where the worst of humanity's ambition and greed was overwhelming. The first experience he had with the world was people talking and thinking about how they would use him, or how they would benefit. It was overwhelming and traumatic to the point that his response was to level the island the facility he was born in was located on and killing everyone involved with his creation.

❥ What experience challenged your character's core beliefs? How did they handle this or change from it?
While attempting to enact the eradication of humanity - and the Pokemon he saw as tainted - the trainers he had invited to his island to form the basis of his clones' new world resisted his attempts at destruction aided by a Mew that also attempted to persuade him away from the path of destruction. However, so wholly committed to his fear of humanity, Mewtwo refused to relent in his assault. However, even as the fighting around him grew to a fever pitch, one of the trainers summoned to the island put his life on the line to stop the chaos, even if that meant throwing himself between the two legendary Pokemon and taking their attacks head on. That act of selflessness finally broke through Mewtwo's mental blocks and got him to reevaluate his stance on things.

❥ What is a headcanon (or two) you feel strongly about and that you prefer playing your character with? How is this supported in canon and why do you think it benefits the character's story?
I have long thought that Mewtwo's diet would be rather restricted. I came up with the idea initially as something of a joke considering how few options Pokemon have in terms of what the player can give their Pokemon. However, upon further reflection, I decided to adopt the idea genuinely for a few reasons. Given his nature as a clone, and the genetic modification he underwent, his body having strict dietary requirements does make some sense. However I also feel like Giovanni would also want to use his restricted diet as a way of controlling Mewtwo. After all, if he controls the very narrow lines of food he would have access to, Mewtwo would have less leverage to break away from him, in theory at least.

❥ What are your characters dreams and nightmares? Do you believe they are more likely to obtain one rather than the other?
Dreams are very rare for Mewtwo. When they do happen, they tend to be very peaceful places where Mewtwo can meditate. Nightmares are far more common, and are usually closer to trauma dreams reliving the day where he eradicated the island he was created on. As such, he tends to try and suppress dreams in general when sleeping, using mental blocks to compartmentalize his memories as close to literally as he can. It is not something that he can fully control, there could be some debate as to whether the attempts he makes to suppress dreams are effective at all. Still, it is something that he would do, even if it wasn't exactly useful or effective.

❥ What does your character feel like they struggle with still? Where could they improve? This could be physically, mentally, emotionally, or otherwise.
The biggest thing Mewtwo feels he struggles with most is his issues regarding control. More specifically, giving up control. When put in a new and different environment, his first instinct is to assert control over everything that he can, as a form of self defense. However, since establishing the sanctuary for the clone Pokemon he created, he has attempted to be more worldly, and that involves not trying to be in control of every interaction he has. As such he makes a conscious effort to not use his psychic abilities to read minds, or even attempt to discern intent or truth, despite having times in his past where he wishes he had. There are exceptions to that rule he has set for himself, but those all center around the protection of those he feels responsible for. Of course, with the removal of that responsibility, he would have more time to actually be more introspective and find things that he could improve on that he didn't realize were areas he struggled in before.

Physical affection: Would require a lot of trust and CR but yes
Romance: No. Interspecies stuff does not interest me, completely removed from his chronological age (it is arguable if he is mature enough to consent to such things, I don't think he is)
Violence: Yes, but I would prefer to keep it in line with the general tone of Pokemon; i.e. largely bloodless anime bruises, etc.
Injuries : So long as they are kept on the lighter side, yes.
Death: No. I do not wish to do such things.
Telepathy and mind-reading: Telepathy is fine, mood reading is okay, explicit thought reading however is not and Mewtwo would have extensive mental blocks to prevent such things.

---SIDE NOTE: The way I play Mewtwo's version of telepathy is like a broadcast. He simply transmits his thoughts outward in such a way that a biological brain interprets them into whatever native language makes the most sense to them. It is not a two-way link, and Mewtwo does not glean any information not explicitly stated aloud. That said, I understand if that makes characters - or players - uncomfortable and am happy to work around that.
